Meningen med 10-öringar

Nu kom ju snön! Jag som inte gillar snö... Men jag måste ju erkänna att silversmycken på snö är ganska effektfullt. Det blir något drömskt över bilden... Och som här nästan sentimentalt i kombination med ringarna med 10-öringar. Det blir ju ganska kul om man är gammal nog att komma ihåg när de användes. För mig som gillar att se en mening i saker, får ju mitt samlande på 10-öringar en betydelse och framförallt att jag sparat dem. Hade jag på känn redan då att jag skulle få användning för dem så långt senare? På samma sätt som jag alltid varit fascinerad av verktyg. Jag har kunnat gå och titta på olika tänger och hammare och önskat mig en användning. Och sen helt plötsligt så hittade jag silversmidet och då var användningen på något sätt rätt självklart. För mig är det många saker som faller på plats på det sättet om man ser det över tid. Man leds till det på något sätt. När tiden är rätt!

In the same way that I have always been fascinated by tools. I have been able to go and look at different pliers and hammers and wanted to find a use. And then all of a sudden I found the silversmithing and then the use was somehow quite obvious. For me, there are many things that fall into place that way if you look at it over time. One are led to it in some way. When the time is right!
