Julförberedelser

Jag vet inte riktigt vad som har hänt. Jag trodde alla julprydnader var bannlysta i min lägenhet. Men helt plötsligt har jag en vas med domherrar, julgranskulor i ull och en julstjärna i papper.

Och jag trivs så bra med detta att jag redan funderar på att göra detta till en året om installation.

Till och med julmusik, som brukar skära i öronen på mig, upplever jag nu som ganska trevligt.

Kan det vara så att det är så här det är på andra sidan 50-strecket? Det är ju den första julen jag upplever som 50-åring. Hur ska man vet… Konstigt är det i vilket fall!

I do not really know what happened. I thought all the Christmas decorations were banned in my apartment. But all of a sudden I have a vase with bullfinches, Christmas baubles in wool and a Christmas star in paper.

And I really enjoy it. So much that I'm thinking about making this a all year around installation.

Even Christmas music, which usually cuts into my ears, I now experience as quite nice.

Could it be that this is how it is like on the other side of the 50 mark? It's the first Christmas I experience as a 50-year-old. How do one know… It's quite weird in any case!
