Gör om, gör rätt

Att det kan vara så svårt att göra om något man gjort förut… Sånt som var naturligt förra gången är nu inte alls det längre.

Jag trodde att jag som ekonom var bra på att hålla ordning och föra noggranna anteckningar på hur saker görs, vilka dimensioner som används, allmänna mått etc. Men inte!

Om man inte lärt sig detta inom silversmidet efter så många år, finns det då hopp för en sån som mig, tro? Eller är det bara att acceptera sig själv som ett omöjligt fall? Eller så har jag förbrukat all ordning och katalogisering på debet och kredit. Kanske vill den kreativa sidan vill leva friare.

Kan det finnas en specifik utbildning på just att hålla koll på dimensioner, skissa och sånt? Det hade jag behövt!!

Isn’t it strange how difficult it can be to repeat something done before… Something that was natural the first time is now not at all natural anymore.

I thought that as an accountant I was good at keeping records and keeping accurate notes on how things are done, what dimensions are used, general measurements, etc. But that’s not the case!

If, as myself, one have not learned this in silversmithing after so many years, then I seriously wonder if there is hope for someone like me. Or do I just accept myself as an impossible case? Maybe I have spent all the record keeping and cataloging skills on debit and credit and that it just run out? Or maybe it as simple as that the creative side wants more space.

Can there be a specific training on just keeping track of dimensions, sketching and such things? I would definitely need that!!
