Kluvenhet

Oxiderade örhängen i transit.
Det är konstigt med smycken man tillverkar. Vissa har man svårt att skilja sig från. Jag hade kunna förklara det om det var det smycken jag själv använder, men så enkelt är det inte. Jag tror det handlar om formen, att det är något i helheten som stämmer och så är fallet med dessa örhängen. Lika glad som jag är att de är på väg till någon som jag hoppas får en ny anledning att vara glad, så kommer jag ändå sakna dem! Det är en konstig kluvenhet att vara smyckesdesigner!

It is strange with jewellery you make. Some are difficult to part from. I could have explained it easily if it was the jewellery I use myself, but it’s not that simple. I think it’s about the shape, that there is something in the whole that is making sense and that is the case with these earrings. As happy as I am that they are on their way to someone I hope will have a new reason to be happy, I will still miss them! It’s a weird mixed feeling to be a jewellery designer!
