The Clove hitch is a simple but strong knot used primarily for mooring boats to bollards or mooring rings. For me, this is a closeness and a symbolism to a world that is very dear to me. It is my favorite knot, mostly because it is so easy to absorb. For example, a way to play with the headphone cord.
